CaribbeanPhotoSeminars.com is seeking a female model

to be the Face of Caribbean Photo Seminars for 2008.


PRIZES:

• All expense paid, one week photo excursion to the United States Virgin Islands including participation in a Caribbean Photo Seminar


• Publication in Caribbean Limin magazine


• Radio and Television appearance on Caribbean media


• $1,000 cash prize


• $1,000 shopping spree in the duty free port of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands


• Face on a series of Caribbean Photo Seminars promotional wear and items (T-shirt, Caps, Photographer's Vests, Souvenirs


• Opportunity to negotiate a representation agreement


• All participants receive a Caribbean Photo Seminars T-shirt commemorating their participation in the CPS Model of the Year Contest.



REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years of age at close of competition


• Must hold a valid passport and be able to travel on specified dates


• Prospective contestants must submit an application including the following snapshot photos:

These photos should be done without make up or hairstyling to see the natural look of the model. Images must be in form fitting swimsuits or leotards.

These images do not need to be professional grade. The plainer the background the better. The pictures can be home made.

They will not be used for contest display, only for initial qualification.


1: head and shulder shot, facing the camera, no smile, hair up

2: head and shulder shot, facing the camera, no smile, hair down

3: head and shulder shot, facing the camera, smiling

4: head and shulder shot, right profile, hair up

5: head and shulder shot, left profile, hair down

6: full length; straight on, no smile

7: full length; left profile, hair up

8: full length; taken from rear, hair up

9: upper body; facing the camera, hair up

10: upper body; facing the camera, hair down


• Prospective contestants must submit three other photos of any style showing their "professional" look.


COMPETITION ROUNDS

Round One: Entry

is the initial application submission of contestants


Round two: Semi Finalists

25 applications will be chosen to move onto this round. Applicants will submit photos wearing

  1. a Caribbean Photo Seminars t-shirt in a creative manner;

  2. a tropical wrap; and

  3. (in swim wear.

  4. Contestants must also submit an introductory video demonstrating their speaking style, modeling and walking ability.
    Time limit: One Minute. (This is similar to the introductory walk and greeting at the beginning of any beauty pageant.)
    T-shirts and tropical wraps will be mailed to Semi-Finalists to be photographed in.


Round Three: Finalists

Ten finalists will be chosen. These finalists will demonstrate their ability to charm, cooperate with people, and present different photographic styles and looks.

Personal interviews will be conducted via web cam or telephone similar to the Question and Answer segment of a beauty pageant.


Round Four: Winner

Semi Finalists, Finalists and Winner will be announced and posted here.



JUDGING CRITERIA

Judges will be looking for overall beauty, modeling ability, speaking ability, poise, charm and intelligence.

The main criteria is a representative model who can attract the market sector that Caribbean Photo Seminars serves: The Photographer.


Judging will be done by employees of Caribbean Photo Seminars and select professional photographers. Judges decisions will be final.


DEADLINE

First round submissions must be in by Midnight, Atlantic Standard Time (GMT -4), June 15, 2008. Late submissions will not be accepted.


Contest is open to residents of the United States of America, United Kingdom and Visa Waiver Nations only.

Submit an email with required images to kc@caribbeanmodelsinternational.com along with

Name, address, telephone number, contact email, physical stats including height, weight, bust, waist and hips.

Provide natural hair color and current hair color. List color of eyes. Also list any distinguishing marks such as piercings, tattoos and scars.
